Ireland’s immensely popular and much loved Irish speaking TV channel TG4 has launched a brand new visual identity courtesy of London-based design teams Rudd Studio, Pete&Tom and Fontsmith.

Fontsmith adjusted aspects of the existing TG4 logo and created a brand new typeface featuring characteristics of traditional Irish fonts.

Belfast design agency AV Browne asked us to explore the creative possibilities for a typeface that supported the architectural style of the new Metropolitan Arts Centre. We are now very excited to see that our bespoke typeface has been applied throughout the centre’s wayfinding system —

The Journal of the Fine Press Book Association, Parenthesis, has recently published its Spring 2012/22nd edition using two of our fonts: FS Sally for the body copy texts and FS Blake for the titles, headlines and sub-titles.
